Some of you have already heard, but I am officially announcing that we have stopped seeing patients. Balancing the "attentive father and husband" part of my life with the "small business ownership" part is no longer a viable path for me (to say nothing of dealing with insurance companies as a one man show).

I have genuinely enjoyed working with everyone in Shepherd and, as the video describes, I'm not really going anywhere far (and the Shepherd Rotary Club #2856 is going to keep me plenty busy in the area!).

Thank you to everyone who's supported us on this journey! I've made some great friends and memories, and I hope I've made some people's lives a little better with the practice. It's been a wild ride but I'm looking forward to some rest and the strangely comforting routine of a 9-5. Have a great summer and rest of 2025, everyone. Love ya to pieces

I have no idea how you’re SUPPOSED to arrive at the clinic today if you’re heading from east to west as there are road closure signs at every intersection. It’s kind of like jazz: a little improv will probably go a long way. We apologize for the inconvenience and fully understand any delay in arrival for appointment times

The sidewalk paving project is currently crossing our driveway. For the next few days we are asking patients to enter from the adjacent vacant lot by coming from the west on Union St as it is the only way to reach the building.

We are OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE, although there will be some navigational/logistical issues arriving! There are some barricades that are closed to thru traffic but open to the businesses beyond them. Please give us a call at 989-567-1300 if you're having trouble navigating them and we can help talk you through the maze.

This is from the Shepherd Department of Public Works...

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Festival. This is a heads up for tomorrow’s travelers. Tomorrow there will be water work being done in the intersection of Wright and Union Street and Power work at Wright and Chippewa Street/Shepherd Rd.

This will cause some Detour Routes for these intersections. Blanchard Rd/Wright Ave will be detoured around Genuine to Pleasant Valley, to Shepherd Road then north back into town, to maple, than 4th to Wright. We will have detour signs present to help.

We are going to wait till 8:00 AM to do this closure to help with the morning rush. We are hoping to have it back open around school letting out. Also, the signs say Road Closed to Thru Traffic. This will allow you to access business in these areas from one end or the other. It will not let you thru the construction areas.

Thank you for your patience with all this construction as we are making improvements in our Village to make it a safer place.

Hours are a little crazy this week we'll still be around 4 days this week to some extent. We'll be seeing patients all day Monday and Thursday, and until 1 Tuesday and Friday. We'll be CLOSED on Wednesday, and normal hours will resume next Monday, March 10.

Enjoy the day off, kids (sorry parents). We still tentatively plan on being open. If we get the full 10-12” that some outlets were calling for… well, we’ll see. 😂

Shepherd Public Schools will be closed, Thursday February 13th, due to weather conditions.
