•• Whatever you seek is seeking you •• I have a background in occupational therapy, most recently mental health, where I taught yoga to adults in crisis. I am excited to bring yoga and art into the minds and hearts of the smallest members of our community. Using familiar stories and themes, each class is a blend of yoga and art to create enriching experiences for children that focus on mindfulness and creativity through nature.

Kid’s Club today was all about stars ⭐️ Watercolors, talking about and drawing our star powers, self-regulation through several kinds of breathwork, cosmic poses, sun salutations, and practiced slowing down (star finger mazes, freeze dance, coloring, buddy breathing with stuffed animals) just to name a few things 😉 We always have a great time on Wednesday’s, join us 🧘🏻‍♀️

I remembered to snap this right at the end of class once things were cleaned up 😆 Homeschool yoga had a small but energetic crew today! We made love bug crafts, practiced different poses and breaths, did some extra dancing and running, and incorporated some new walking exercises into our warmup. It was a fast and fun time! My Tuesday crew always makes for a fast morning! Two groups this week with 17 little souls, we keep it moving ✨ We decorated love bugs, danced, got a chance to teach their peers a yoga pose, practiced with the singing bowl, and balanced in different ways on the beam. Always a fun time together!

Kid’s Club today was all about patterns! ✨ They each drew their own repeating pose sequence and had a chance to lead the class, used game pieces and the singing bowl to create patterns for their peers, and discussed patterns in our behaviors and emotions along with coping skills to navigate them. It was a full class! We ended making beaded bracelets and of course, freeze dance 🥰 Join us every Wednesday!

You wouldn’t believe it looking at these pictures 😆 but the room was totally silent when they did lotus pose together! The rest we can call creative chaos. Sometimes yoga with 11 littles is a lot like herding cats ☺️ They practiced their mindful looking skills, played a special freeze dance, decorated love bugs, did lots of poses and dances, and balanced on the beam. This crew loves to roll up in their mats for savasana! ✨
