Moving vulnerable pets can sometimes cause more stress than we expect — especially when they are elderly or have underlying health concerns. At Pet Relocation International, we take every single move incredibly seriously. The safety, wellbeing, and comfort of each pet is always our top priority.
We also make sure owners know what signs of stress to look out for once their pets arrive, and we are always available by phone to offer advice and guidance whenever it’s needed.
Recently, we transported Buttons, a very elderly Labrador, from the United Kingdom to Qatar. He coped very well throughout his journey, but once he was out of the airport environment, he became stressed very quickly.
Our team immediately stepped in — placing cold towels on him, encouraging hydration, and acting quickly to keep him comfortable. We then drove him straight to his owner, where we stayed and monitored him closely until his breathing calmed.
Relocating pets isn’t just about transport — it’s about care, vigilance, and responsibility from start to finish. Every pet matters. Every journey matters. And we’re with you every step of the way. 🐾
