The truths your body actually wants you to know.
1️⃣ Myth: Massage is just for sore muscles.
Reality: It’s for your entire system: your nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems all benefit from every session. Massage regulates your stress hormones and helps your whole body find balance. 🌿
2️⃣ Myth: You need to “tough it out” for a deep tissue to work.
Reality: Pain ≠ progress. The right pressure should help your body release tension, not brace against it. Sometimes the gentlest touch goes the deepest. 💜
3️⃣ Myth: Massage is only helpful after something hurts.
Reality: Preventative care keeps pain from starting. Regular bodywork keeps your muscles flexible, your joints mobile, and your stress levels manageable before things flare up.
4️⃣ Myth: You can “hold it all in” and still heal.
Reality: Emotional release is physical release. If you cry, laugh, or feel waves of emotion on the table, that’s your body letting go, too. Healing is never just physical. ✨
