That's normal. That's part of healing.

What's the difference between soreness and pain during PT? Here's how to tell and when to speak up:

Normal soreness: Dull ache in muscles you worked, starts 24-48 hours after exercise, improves with gentle movement, gone within 2-3 days

Concerning pain: Sharp or intense during exercise, doesn't improve with rest, affects your sleep, gets worse instead of better, in joints rather than muscles.

Listen to your body. Some discomfort during recovery is normal and even necessary. But pain is your body's warning system.

When in doubt, call your therapist. We'd rather answer questions than have you push through something that could set you back.
