Kindness Day was born when a collection of humanitarian groups came together on November 13, 1997, and made a “Declaration of Kindness”. Likewise, on Kindness Day everyone is encouraged to make a similar declaration. Donating books, food, or clothes to your local community is a great way to celebrate.

Our Substance Use Disorder program is proud to offer a variety of services including free Narcan! Opioid related deaths are higher than car accidents in the United States. Addiction often begins with legally prescribed medications such as Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Codeine, Morphine, and even Fentanyl. Narcan is the nasal spray version of Naloxone that is used to reverse an Opioid overdose.

Our boxes are accessible 24/7, no questions asked. There is a QR code on the side of the box that will take you to the instructional video or feel free to come inside and our staff would be happy to provide instructions. If you or anyone you know needs help with a substance use problem, contact us at 903-957-4803. Save a life, carry Narcan!

We are a recovery-oriented system of care and believe that individuals diagnosed with a substance use disorder have the ability to recover and deserve dignity and respect throughout their recovery process without the stigma traditionally attached to substance use disorders. We believe that each individual is unique and that person-centered recovery should include individual strengths and needs.
