Utilizing the latest in evidence-based psychotherapy, each therapeutic intervention we deliver is designed to empower a patient's sense of purpose, balance, and joy in recovery.

From treatment to tip-off 🏀
Bluffs alumni had the chance to take in the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Miami Heat game from a penthouse suite, and celebrate a Cavaliers win.

Bring together our alumni reminds us that recovery thrives in fellowship and community. There were 41 years of recovery in one penthouse. Together, this group represents over 14,971 days of sobriety and counting!

Cravings can feel overwhelming, but they’re temporary. The wave metaphor reflects the nature of cravings: they rise, peak, and eventually subside. Urge surfing is a mindfulness-based practice designed to help individuals manage cravings by "riding the wave" of an urge without acting on it. It's important to remember that cravings rise, peak, and pass if we ride them out 🌊🏄‍♀️

Ten years ago, Maria Sulcer at the Lindner Center of HOPE started the Cincinnati Give Connect Receive (GCR) Luncheon with a small group of passionate colleagues. What began as a local gathering has grown into a community across 7 states, bringing behavioral health professionals together each month to share resources, ideas, and hope.

Along the way, incredible partners like our own Justin Crowder at The Bluffs have helped expand this network and keep it thriving.

We’re so grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey, and to the sponsors who help make these gatherings possible.

You can’t give without receiving, and you can’t receive without giving 💚

We want to give a big shout out to Rachael Younger, Sr. Business Development Representative with The Bluffs, for coordinating such a wonderful evening with some of our closest partners in Michigan’s behavioral health and addiction recovery community.
It was a great opportunity to spend time with so many dedicated professionals who work every day to support individuals, families, and employers impacted by addiction.

We are incredibly grateful for the relationships we have built with these local leaders in behavioral health and addiction treatment. Your commitment to helping people recover, rebuild their lives, and return to the workforce is truly inspiring. Thank you for the important work you do to strengthen our communities and support those on their recovery journey.
