But here’s what most people get wrong:
MORE IS NOT BETTER

Let’s break this down in a way that actually helps you get results—without overdoing it.

Green tea contains a powerful compound called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which helps:

Increase fat burning
Support metabolism
Improve how your body uses fat for energy.

It also contains a small amount of caffeine, which works together with EGCG to give you a gentle metabolic boost—without the crash of coffee.

Green tea may help you burn ~50–100 extra calories per day
It supports fat oxidation (burning fat as fuel)
It can help reduce bloating and support digestion.
