FROM THE HEART OF A CHILD

For many children, birthdays are synonymous with presents, parties, and celebrations centered around them.
However, Valentina, Granddaughter of Lorraine Kline, requested friends and family was simple, yet profound: instead of bringing her birthday gifts, she requested them to contribute to St. Francis Home and help make a difference.
This is not her first time, as we were blessed before.

This year she presented to our volunteers $107.42.

Her baby brother was involved and proud of his big sister.

Such acts of generosity remind us that even the youngest among us can lead by example and ignite a spirit of giving.
By supporting St. Francis Home, she helped a noble cause but also inspired everyone around them to think beyond themselves.

The Peanut Bar hosted a fundraiser for St. Francis Home, a nonprofit hospice facility, in memory of a man who was a regular at the West Reading restaurant.
