🚜 Scooping blocks to find the flash cards taped to them -> following directions/big motor movements/phonology/sound practice
🧩 Puzzle pieces in a sensory bin -> fine motor, sensory, matching, language, problem solving
🎯 NOW my very busy friend is regulated and ready to work on some more challenging tasks!
🤓 It looks like play bc it’s so fun, but there is definitely a method to the madness!

🧩🏋️AMRAP for Autism🏋🏼🧩 I was honored to hang out with this cool kid and help raise money to support kids on the spectrum. Voyage CrossFit raised enough money to provide a year’s worth of co-pays for a local child’s therapy services!

Adapt almost any game to fit the age and goals of each speech kiddo. Just replace the spinner with an Easter grass sensory bin and the possibilities are endless, and so cute 🐰🥕🧑‍🌾🌷

Going from speech with toddlers to teens was definitely a learning curve for me, but we’re managing just fine now!

Mr. Mouth was meant for teaching the kids oral motor awareness….but as it turns out they all prefer teaching Mr. Mouth what to do. 🤪

Pirate week is always a huge hit with the kids (and therapists) at Just Imagine Pediatric Therapy. They pull out all the stops with this incredible ship, complete with a wooden plank, sharks and buried treasure. When learning meets fun anything is possible!
