It’s that time of year again. Time for a repost.

No it’s not in your head....

Our bodies, the seasons, days, tides, all follow a rhythm.

There is a circadian rhythm to everything.

The rhythm of fall is pimples 😆.

No not really...ish.

The body has a surge of testosterone in September that peaks in October.

What does this mean for skin? It can definitely mean some increased breakouts. In fact this is the time of year all of my friends call me and ask,” Rebecca, what can I do for my face, it’s freaking out!”

If you are already on my program, I encourage you, stay the course. All will settle down soon. I also encourage my clients to up their moisturizer. The ultra peptide moisturizer in particular is amazing to help counteract fall breakouts.

So take a deep breath, and just keep going.

Another recent acne grad 🎉.

It feels so great to watch this process.

For many acne clients the challenge is dehydration in the skin.

This seems so counter intuitive. The thought is, let’s dry them up! And that is the difference with how I treat acne.

Dehydrated skin backfires with oil and more breakouts.

So we slather the skin with healthy hydration in the form of Ultra Peptide moisturizer, that is loaded with copper peptide and anti inflammatories.

We add in a creamy cleanser, something most acne clients have never used, and top it off with hydrating drops.

This ensures that the skin is so healthy and so hydrated that it doesn’t bat an eye when I throw some strong actives at it.

We’ve had quite a slew of acne grads at the clinic. I’ll be getting some before and afters posted for you in the next week or so as I catch my breath and we head into Spring 🌞.

This is a virtual client that came in for her ending appointment.

3 months passes fast. Clear skin is such an emotional healing after dealing with acne for years.

I love watching the transformation. Both on the outside and the inside. It truly never gets old for me.
