Navarino Valley Elk and Bison Ranch The scientific combination of select grass species planted on our Ranch provides our Elk & Bison the Natural Grass & legumes they find in Mother Nature.

Higher Omega 3, Iron, Thiamine, Riboflavin and Niacin are direct health benefits from these meats. I started Elk Ranching in 1992, I liked being around farming as a child, but didn’t see the Industrialized livestock feeding methods being acceptable once the public discovered methods they use for faster production. I believe the Industrial methods including feeding antibiotics and injecting hormones into livestock ultimately effects our immune system, weakening it over time leaving us susceptible decease. Today’s health responsible consumer prefers knowing how the food is raised and where it comes from. I thought the idea of farming Elk was unique and sounded like a great future farming opportunity as more consumers looked for healthier meat proteins raised all naturally. The animals are roaming the pristine green grass valleys and woods on our Ranch in Navarino Wisconsin. No hormones or chemicals are used in our farming operation assuring our customers of the cleanest healthiest products in the world. As the market grew for Elk, I decided to expand by adding Buffalo or Bison in 2002. I enjoy meeting the consumers by attending farmers markets in Appleton and Green Bay. It is a great way to reach out and explain the great taste, low fat and cholesterol qualities of a grass fed all natural raised Elk & Bison. Currently, we are Raising 100 Elk and 200 Bison, we also have developed a consortium group of local farmers to raise as many animals as we will need to grow the markets.
