With a heavy heart, I want to acknowledge the recent passing of Gary Craig, the founder of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
Gary’s work found me first on my own grief journey, at a time when words alone were not enough. EFT gave me a way to meet my pain gently, to create space between the ache and my sense of self, and to feel moments of relief when grief felt overwhelming. It reminded me that healing does not have to be forceful to be powerful.
Over the years, this tool became more than something I used personally. It became something I brought into my practice, offering clients a way to regulate their nervous systems, soften emotional intensity, and feel more empowered in their healing. I have witnessed EFT help people sit with grief, trauma, anxiety, and self doubt with greater compassion and safety.
I am deeply grateful for Gary Craig’s willingness to simplify healing, to make it accessible, and to trust that the body and mind know how to move toward balance when given the right support. His legacy lives on in every moment of relief, every exhale after tapping, and every person who feels a little more at peace because of this work.
Thank you, Gary, for the impact you have had on my life and the lives of so many others. Your work continues.
