Ecumen Hospice provides honoring care for individuals nearing end of life and their families in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, and Washington counties. The care team includes physicians, nurses, spiritual counselors, music and massage therapists, physical therapists, and so much more. Accepting Medicare, Medical Assistance, Veterans benefits, health insurance, private pay and indigent care.

We are so grateful to our friends at Amira Choice Forest Lake for welcoming Ecumen Hospice and allowing us to be part of such a beautiful Valentine’s celebration!

It was truly a joy to kick off the week surrounded by music, delicious Valentine’s cookies, and meaningful moments shared with residents during lunch in The Neighborhood — including some extra love from our “love bugs.”

Ecumen Home Care and Ecumen Hospice, in collaboration with Ecumen St. Benedict's Community, participated in a tabling event in partnership with the Whitney Senior Center. The event provided transportation for seniors to various locations throughout the greater St. Cloud area to learn about available services and housing options.

Our incredible Ecumen Hospice team joined in the fun at Pine City’s Holiday Madness celebration this past weekend. It was a joy to connect with the community, spread holiday cheer, and share in the festive spirit together.

This week at Abiitan Mill City - An Ecumen Living Space, we gathered as a community to celebrate and remember the lives of ten residents who passed away in 2025, along with others who remain close in our hearts.

Led by our team — Becca Munoz (Assistant Executive Director), Jennine Speier (Pianist), Joel Sund (Manager of Spiritual Care, Ecumen), Cheryl Locke (Executive Director), Brandyn Liebe (Senior Living Consultant), and Tommaso Cammarano (Life Enrichment Manager) — the service carried the message “BitterSweet,” reflecting on “A time to live and a time to die.”

With about 80 people in attendance, it was a meaningful time of remembrance, connection, and love.

Our amazing Ecumen Hospice team sponsored and beautifully decorated a Christmas tree to spread joy and cheer this season at The Glenn Minnetonka. It’s a wonderful reminder of the compassion and community that make the holidays so special.

November is National Home Care & Hospice Month, and our Ecumen teams across Minnesota have been celebrating in style!

In Mankato, our Ecumen Home Care team kicked things off with a lively round of Turkey Bingo, bringing joy and laughter to residents and families.

Our Ecumen Hospice team in Southern MN, serving Mankato, Owatonna, and surrounding communities, is proud to honor the incredible dedication and compassion our caregivers bring every single day.

And in Duluth, we continued the celebration with a special Home Care & Hospice Month event filled with smiles, connection, and gratitude.

We are so thankful for the commitment of our Home Care and Hospice teams who make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Happy National Home Care & Hospice Month from all of us at Ecumen!
