It’s our way of saying thank you to the men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication. We’re honored to recognize their service this Veterans Day and every day.

November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, a time to honor the compassionate professionals who bring comfort and dignity to life’s final chapter.

At Ecumen Hospice, care goes beyond medical support. It’s about creating meaningful moments and lasting memories for patients and their families.

When Gary entered hospice care, his family already knew the compassion of Ecumen well. His granddaughter-in-law, Anna, had recently joined the Ecumen Hospice team, giving her a special perspective, both as a caregiver and as family.

Jody is one of our incredible Ecumen Hospice volunteers, offering companionship to patients in the Twin Cities. She began volunteering to connect with others and hear their stories and her warmth and positivity shine through in every visit.

As Jody puts it, “𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑎 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑠𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑.” One of her favorite memories is sharing a laugh so contagious with a patient that staff down the hall came to see what was going on!

She says:
