Have you ever made the decision to close the door and keep out the pressures of life.
A relationship, your job, living with society in general. You ran into your room and locked the door.
Then somehow forgot you can unlock that door. Feeling trapped within. With your thoughts. Your beliefs of what you can't do outside, that door.

You have limited your world.
That is your world, all of it, the mind says.

Outside is also your world.
A big, beautiful, opportunity filled world.

Breathe in. Deal with one moment at a time. This moment. Unlock the door.
Breathe out.

Oh my, you're still alive. It wasn't the end of the world.

Breathe in, step out. Stop, what can you see? The door is open.
You can run back in. But you know what's in there.
You don't need to run to your next safe place. Or find somewhere to hide.

Breathe out, then keep on breathing (it is kind of mandatory).

Stop the self speak controlled by fear.
What if I fail?

Then you learned something.
We are here to learn. We are not here to have things handed to us. We all have something we can contribute. An idea, something we can do to help others, or just a smile. Sometimes it could just be holding the hand of someone else feeling as you do.

Don't close yourself off of your potential.

Live in the present. Be flexible and ride the waves.

I recommend not trying to jump out of the window in an effort to avoid opening that door.
