We provide services in homes, nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, and anywhere else care is needed. 🌿 Weekend Caregivers Needed – Grand Cane
We are also hiring caregivers for weekend shifts in the Grand Cane area. All weekend shifts are currently open, making this a great option for someone looking to add extra hours.

🏡 Zwolle Area – Part-Time Caregiver Needed
We are looking for a caregiver in the Zwolle area for 2–3 days a week, just a few hours each day. This position is mostly companionship with light help around the home — a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time, meaningful work.

Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Issues Travel Advisory Due to Icy Road Conditions

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is urging all residents to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary due to extremely hazardous road conditions caused by ice and melting water.

As temperatures fluctuate, melted water is pooling on top of existing ice, creating a slick and unpredictable driving surface. These conditions make the roads very treacherous and significantly increase the risk of accidents.

"We are asking everyone to avoid unnecessary travel and stay at home if possible," said Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. "The combination of ice and water on the roadways makes it very difficult to maintain control of vehicles, even at low speeds. Your safety is our top priority.”

For those who must travel for emergencies, the Sheriff's Office advises the following:

- Reduce speed and allow for extra following distance.
- Avoid sudden braking or sharp turns.
- Use headlights and ensure your vehicle is properly equipped for winter conditions.
- Remain alert for bridges and overpasses, which tend to freeze first.

Deputies and emergency responders are actively monitoring road conditions and responding to incidents as needed. Citizens are encouraged to stay tuned to local media and the official Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office social media for updates.

❄️With winter weather moving into our area, we want to remind everyone in our community to stay safe, stay warm, and avoid traveling if road conditions become icy or unsafe.

At Professional Sitter Services, the safety of our clients and caregivers is always our top priority. To help prevent anyone from having to drive on icy roads, our caregivers are remaining with our 24-hour clients throughout the weekend so care continues without interruption. Our office remains on call 24/7 as well.

We’re grateful to be able to continue providing dependable care during uncertain weather, and we truly appreciate the dedication of our caregivers and the trust of the families we serve.
