CASSE operates 6 health centers, 340b Pharmacy, and a mobile unit that serves the community of Northwest Louisiana.

CASSE (A Federally Qualified Health Center) collaborates with a wide variety of like-minded organizations, including state entities, community organizations and hospital health systems to increase access and decrease disparities for the underserved. Diabetes Awareness Month is a reminder that knowledge is powerful. Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune condition that can’t be prevented & can occur in anyone at any age. Type 2 Diabetes is heavily influenced by lifestyle, genetics, and overall metabolic health & often develops gradually, causing many people to miss the early signs. Maintaining a balanced diet, staying active, managing stress, and getting regular blood sugar screenings can help prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes for those at risk. It’s also important to recognize early symptoms such as: increased thirst, fatigue, and frequent urination. Healthy habits today can protect your tomorrow! 💙
