Distinguished professionals in radiation oncology, medical physics, dosimetry, and particle therapy research will gather in Shreveport-Bossier for the 11th Annual Meeting of the Particle Therapy Cooperative Group – North America. Hosted by Willis Knighton Cancer Center and the Department of Radiation Oncology, the event will take place Friday through Sunday at Live! Casino and Hotel, with a site visit to our Cancer Center on Saturday. Notably, this marks the first occasion the international group has selected a cancer center and city of this size, with attendees representing renowned institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson, Massachusetts General Hospital, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
