We're partnering with the Gingerbread House Child Advocacy Center for our annual toy drive!

The Gingerbread House serves children who have experienced abuse or neglect, and we're collecting new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 2-18. Toys for older children and teens are especially needed!

Everyone in our community is encouraged to participate! Drop off your gift with any Highland Clinic staff member or in one of our wrapped Christmas collection boxes in our lobbies.

🌟Physician Spotlight: Roan Flenniken, M.D.🌟

Dr. Roan Flenniken is a highly experienced board-certified Internal Medicine physician with Highland Clinic Internal Medicine, specializing in comprehensive adult primary care, including the management of acute and chronic conditions and preventative health. Dr. Flenniken established his practice in 1986 with Highland Clinic and, along with his licensed nurses and medical assistants, is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Dr. Flenniken's medical education began at Louisiana State University Shreveport Medical School, graduating in 1983. He completed both his Internship (1983-1984) and Residency (1984-1986) at LSU Shreveport Medical School. Prior to medical school, he earned his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, in 1979. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

The Highland Clinic Internal Medicine office provides a comprehensive setting for evaluation and care, equipped to perform diagnostic services such as electrocardiography, Holter Monitors, treadmill testing, and spirometry, as well as providing in-house laboratory and x-ray services.

While Dr. Flenniken’s patient panel is currently closed, our practice maintains a commitment to providing accessible healthcare! Our experienced nurse practitioners are currently accepting new patients and work collaboratively with Dr. Flenniken to ensure exceptional patient care.
