Dr. Jack Ward has 25 years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon and a lifetime of experience as an athlete. His preference for endurance and triathlon events led him to become a USAT certified triathlon coach (Level 1) and a USA Track and Field Coach. Dr. Jack's commitment to his patients and extensive medical knowledge in the realm of physical performance make him an ideal athletic mentor. As a physician triathlete, he has a unique understanding of the challenges triathletes face in training as well as in seeking medical advice and care. Dr. Karen Pendleton has 28 years of experience as a physician, specializing in age management medicine and ophthalmology. She has developed personalized strategies for her patients to live long, youthful lives. Dr. Karen believes healthy living can be simple and fun, so she enjoys a wide variety of athletic activities including Zumba, extreme hula hooping, and aerial yoga. Thus, she can certainly tailor exercise physiology for her patients. Her expertise in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), allows her patients to overcome impressive barriers in their physical and emotional lives. With medical experience in fertility, anti-aging, sexual dysfunction, skin care, weight management, athletic performance, hair loss, and a variety of other scenarios, Dr. Karen is committed to caring for her patients with personalized goals and enthusiasm. Tia Landrum serves as Director of Operations and Patient Relations for Pair O' Docs. Tia has been a licensed massage therapist in Louisiana for nearly five years. She has extensive experience in athletic and pain management massage modalities and also offers relaxation massage as a component of Pair O' Docs' stress-management system. Tia offers members of Pair O' Docs (and athletes with Pair O' Docs' affiliate company, Running Gorillas) discounted and complimentary massage rates. Her experience in networking and her background in health studies inspire her to be a patient advocate and promoter of wellness medicine.
