We are a privately owned professional medical corporation. We established in 1979 and have since grown to the largest GI practice in the Northwest Louisiana with 13 physicians and 4 offices, as well as the Shreveport Endoscopy Center to serve you. The physicians of GIS care for diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, as well as colon cancer screening. We also have the Louisiana Research Center that offers clinical research for new medicines that can help with gastrointestinal diseases.

Cedric Willis is a board-certified physician assistant who has been practicing with GIS since 2018. He completed the Physician Assistant Program from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2010. In 2002, Cedric received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Grambling State University. He appreciates working with the physicians and staff who are friendly, courteous and always willing to help no matter the circumstance. Cedric is looking forward to many years ahead as he continues to absorb the knowledge provided by the physician group and his peers.

Cedric grew up in Homer, Louisiana. He enjoys sports and spending time with family.
