A Practice to Realign/Reset/Restore
A 75 minute breathwork, movement and sound experience to align your energy. We will use intentional breath practices (pranayama) along with breath centered movement (asana) to calm the mind, strengthen the nervous system, and allow the student a deeper experience of presence in the body. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Our November YoGiNi Of ThE mOnTh is Teri! 👏😄🎊

Teri brings kindness, warmth, and genuine support into every class she attends at Bloom. She embodies the spirit of our community — helping our garden grow stronger and more vibrant each day.

When we asked Teri what she loves most about Bloom, she didn’t hesitate, “THE PEOPLE! The environment at Bloom is so accepting and nurturing. I felt ‘a part of’ since day one. I can come to class and just be ME.”

Teri enjoys a balance of both energizing and grounding classes. Her favorite daytime class? Dan’s Monday morning energetic Vinyasa: “We cut up and have fun while we push ourselves.” And in the evenings, she loves Emma’s Thursday Yoga Flow, “I feel strong and powerful with her.”

Yoga has become an intentional part of Teri’s daily life, “Yoga is my medicine! It allows me to feel comfortable in my body and to push through when I am having a hard day — physically and mentally. It is also where I have my greatest connection to self and source.”

Fun Fact: If Teri could have any superpower, she would solve the world’s problems so everyone could be happy! But for now, she says, “I’ll settle for being able to do crow.”

Teri is also the owner of Moon Brake Clay and is responsible for the adorable Blessing Bowls everyone keeps buying in the boutique. Look forward to seeing her at out upcoming winter solstice event where she will be a vendor offering all of her incredible creations.

We are deeply grateful that Teri chooses Bloom for her practice and trusts us to support her journey. Thank you, Teri, for planting yourself here and helping our community flourish!

Discover the transformative power of Yoga Nidra, the ancient practice of “wakeful rest” now backed by modern science. Research shows that Yoga Nidra can reduce stress and anxiety, support healing in the body, ease muscle aches and chronic pain, and improve energy, focus, and sleep. In this weekend workshop, you’ll be guided through both the science and the direct experience of this deeply restorative practice.

We would like to welcome Miranda to our Bloom Family as our new yoga instructor!

After spending years in the mental health field, Miranda Alisha felt a deeper calling. She wanted to be able to help people connect with their mind, body, and spirit. This led her down the path of self-discovery that opened the door to holistic health. In 2020, meditation began to impact her life and found its way into her everyday routine. Yoga naturally followed and she quickly began to see the benefits of using both together.

In the winter of 2024, Miranda received her 200 Hr RYT through Balanced Yoga and Wellness in Shreveport, La. In her practice, Miranda bounces between Vinyasa Yoga and Gentle Yoga. Her Vinyasa flows build heat and create energy and Gentle are used to relax and find deeper stretches. Miranda finds that both methods set up for deep meditation. This path led Miranda to becoming a yoga therapist which has been the perfect blend of her education and interests.

Along with being a certified yoga instructor, Miranda is active in the wellness industry. She is a chef that specializes in vegan/vegetarian dining and a certified holistic coach that focuses on nutrition planning. Outside of the wellness industry, Miranda has two nieces and a chubby cat named Minerva that keeps her hands full!

Our Instructor Spotlight is Dan! 🔦🙌🏻🧘🏼💫☄️

Dan has only been teaching at Bloom for 2 months, but he has been a devoted Bloom yogi for almost 2 years. His favorite style of yoga to practice is Energetic Vinyasa and hot yoga.

One of the first things anyone will notice about Dan is how friendly and helpful he is. Dan is all about community and it was evident the moment he walked through our doors. We love how dedicated Dan is to his health, practice, students, and Bloom.

"When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find me hopping on planes or road trips for adventure, being bossed around by my two needy French bulldog “kids,” or maybe swapping stories with new people I meet daily that I host at my home through Airbnb," said Dan.

A little more about Dan:
What brings you back to your mat: "To nurture my spirit by practicing controlling my Mind, Body, and Breath."

When in life do you feel like you bloom: "When I shifted from seeing discipline as restriction or punishment, or something difficult. To now seeing discipline as an act of self-love—a way of caring for myself and creating space for growth."

What is your favorite thing about Bloom Yoga Studio: "My favorite thing about Bloom Yoga Studio is the variety—it offers so many different classes, but also awesome people, a strong sense of community, and connection."
