Please celebrate with us as we welcome Robert Morgan to the Personal Solutions team!! Robert will be supervised by Dr. Thomas Davison, LPC-S, also with Personal Solutions.
He will begin seeing clients (adolescents through adults) December 1st. His availability will be after school and evening appointments!!!
Robert T. Morgan is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern State University. His clinical work is deeply informed by an existential counseling approach, which recognizes that many of life's struggles stem from the "daily grind" of navigating existence, finding meaning, and dealing with life's inevitable challenges.
Robert's goal is to help individuals from adolescents through geriatric age uncover their inner strength and develop a clear sense of purpose to overcome feelings of emptiness, anxiety, or despair. He believes, echoing his counseling hero, Viktor Frankl (author of Man's Search for Meaning), that humans require meaning to survive and appreciate life, and therapy is the journey to find that unique personal meaning.
While Robert is equipped to work with a broad spectrum of clients, he holds a particular passion for supporting adolescents. His dual professional role as a middle school teacher in Bossier Parish, where he teaches ELA and provides reading intervention, gives him a unique and knowledgeable understanding of the academic, social, and emotional pressures faced by today's youth. Drawing inspiration from another key figure, Irvin Yalom, Robert provides a warm, authentic, and direct therapeutic space to explore the core issues of the human condition—such as freedom, isolation, and responsibility—that are often most acutely felt during the teenage years.
If you or your child are seeking a path toward deeper self-understanding, resilience, and a more purposeful life, Robert is ready to partner with you on that journey. You can call the office at (318)686-0012, for scheduling!
