🚨 United Healthcare Community Plan Members – Important Deadline! 🚨

If you are currently enrolled in United Healthcare Community Plan, you have until February 15th to choose your Medicaid health plan.

After 2/15, Louisiana Medicaid will automatically assign a plan for you.

If you’d rather choose your own plan (which we recommend), here’s how to do it:

🌐 Go to:
https://myplan.healthy.la.gov/enroll

Follow These Steps:

Click “Get Started” under ONLINE

Enter the member’s Name, Date of Birth, and last 4 digits of SSN

Verify or update contact information (address, mobile, email – optional)

Select Enrollment Type: MEDICAL

Review your Current and Future Enrollment Choice

Select each person you want to change

Click “Enroll Member”

Click “Choose a Health Plan”

Find the plan you prefer and click “Choose This Plan”

Click “Save and Continue”

You may skip the Provider Selection section

Accept the Term of Enrollment

✅ Once completed, you should receive an Enrollment Successful message with an effective date of 04/01/2026.

We are excited to share an important update regarding the MHS Program.

Please join us in welcoming Deidre Benjamin as our new MHS Program Manager.

Deidre has been a dedicated member of the Brighter Future Counseling Services team since 2016. During her tenure, she has worked across all departments, gaining valuable experience and a well-rounded understanding of our programs, operations, and the clients we serve. Her commitment, reliability, and passion for the work have consistently stood out.

Deidre is currently enrolled in graduate school pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW), and this new role aligns seamlessly with her professional growth and long-term career goals. We are confident that her experience and leadership will be a strong asset to the continued success of the MHS Program.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news regarding our FFT Program! Please join us in celebrating Nitika Pinesett as our new FFT Program Manager!

Nitika has been an invaluable part of our organization since 2016, serving as an MHS Clinician and stepping into the role of FFT Therapist in 2018. She has been with the FFT team since the very beginning, and her deep knowledge of the model, passion for the work, and dedication to the families we serve make her incredibly well-suited for this role.

We’re excited to see Nitika step into this leadership position and confident that her experience and commitment will continue to strengthen and grow our FFT Program. Please help us congratulate Nitika on this well-deserved new role!
