I am rather dumbfounded at the negativity that is clouding the community lately.
So many people “protecting their community” instead of having intelligent open conversations.
I certainly seem to be partly responsible for opening this can of worms but I will take no responsibility for the outright negative and sometimes hostile responses that are coming out.
I have another video responding to some other negativity that I am still editing (yes, I do it all myself) and that will be the end of my involvement in this back & forth.
For 16 years I was strict carnivore.
The first 10 years: incredible results.
The last 6 years: weight gain and my fasting glucose/A1c creeping toward prediabetic — even while still “perfect carnivore.”
In my full YouTube video I explain exactly what actually happened, what did not happen (no, it wasn’t dairy, artificial sweeteners, or alcohol), and why I made the choice to reintroduce controlled whole-food carbohydrates and lower fat instead of just “tightening carnivore harder” and miserable atttempting Sardine Challenges and fasting that is truly not sustainable long term but was the only thing that would ever get the scale to move downward…. Only to creep right back up.
This is not drama. This is metabolic reality.
