Dr. Ortega is a multilingual (Spanish/English) board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, clinician-scientist, medical educator, and executive leader recognized for her expertise in language access in health care and medical education. She also serves as CEO of the Center for Clinician Multilingualism, leading innovative, scalable programs that strengthen clinicians’ ability to communicate with patients in non-English languages.
