Meet Katherine Mendez, NP, a longtime member of our Patient Care Team. 💙 Katherine is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has worked in reproductive endocrinology and infertility since 2018, bringing years of hands-on experience to every patient interaction.

Her background in maternity and newborn nursing shaped her path into fertility care, and she has coordinated treatment for many patients across multiple fertility practices. Today, Katherine focuses on supporting couples through evaluations and in-office procedures with a thoughtful approach that helps care feel organized and reassuring.

Katherine brings so much kindness and experience to our team, and we’re grateful for the care she continues to provide every day. Katherine also speaks Spanish to support clear communication and comfort for Spanish-speaking patients and families. También habla español.

It’s easy to be hard on yourself during this process, especially when things don’t move the way you expected. It’s important to remember not to blame yourself for:

🫶 How long this might take
🫶 Results that feel confusing or disappointing
🫶 Emotions that change from one week to the next
🫶 Needing more information or more time
🫶 Asking the same questions more than once

So much of this is outside your control. All you can do is be gentle with yourself and take this journey one day at a time. And if you ever forget, we’ll be here to remind you.

Meet Elizabeth “Liz” Piercy! Liz has been a trusted NP and a valuable part of our Patient Care Team since 2018, growing alongside our practice and our patients. She began her career here as a Registered Nurse and went on to complete her Nurse Practitioner training, becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP.

Over the years, Liz has developed deep experience in fertility care through advanced training and hands-on clinical work. She supports patients through evaluations and in-office procedures, takes time to explain treatment options, and helps patients feel informed as decisions are made.
