We're on the last day of counting down to 2026 with our final top moment of the past year!

In 2025, we partnered with the Alaska Department of Health and the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development to transform the state's Medicaid School-Based Services Program.

Last week, the ForHealth Consulting School Based Services team attended the Alaska School Safety and Well-Being Summit. We have partnered with the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development and the Alaska Department of Health to transform the Medicaid School-Based Services Program.

Through this initiative, school districts are eligible to receive technical and financial assistance to help them access vital federal reimbursement for health care and health-related services provided by schools.

Our team’s technical support services include assistance with the Medicaid provider enrollment process, guidance on covered services and qualified providers, training on the Medicaid provider portal, and opportunities for peer learning and support.

Long-term services and supports (LTSS) for older adults and individuals with disabilities should improve members’ health, quality of life, and overall experience, while driving better outcomes and cost efficiency.

Our LTSS team has processed 4.5 million claims to ensure timely access to care. For community-based applicants, assessments begin within one business day; over 3,700 individuals have successfully transitioned from facilities to community living in one state.

ForHealth Consulting streamlines the disability determination process by combining deep regulatory insight with clinical and subject matter expertise to deliver prompt and accurate disability determinations.

We average 45 days on our application processing time—well below the 189-day average federal processing time—helping agencies avoid case backlogs and providing quicker access to the benefits applicants rely on.

Geneva (Gann) Weymouth, senior clinical evaluator in the ForHealth Consulting Justice, Health, & Equity team, was a co-author on the article, “Bridging crisis and care: exploring the role of behavioral health professionals in a police co-response model,” published in "Health & Justice", a Springer Nature BMC journal.

She was involved in this work in her role at Boston Medical Centerr before joining ForHealth Consulting. The article shows the importance of co-response programs within communities to assist with individuals in crisis.
