As you prep your holiday feast, keep your loved ones safe... and your leftovers delicious!

- Cook it right. Turkey should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees in the thickest part of the breast or thigh.

- Keep it clean. Wash hands, surfaces and utensils often.

- Refrigerate quickly. Leftovers should be placed in the fridge within 2 hours to keep bacteria from growing.

- Thaw safely. Always thaw your turkey in the refrigerator, never on the counter.

Happy Thanksgiving prepping!
