If your child’s prescription keeps changing every year… here’s what actually matters:

👀 Screen / near work
Try to limit prolonged near work and follow the 20-20-20 rule
(every 20 minutes → look 20 feet away for 20 seconds)

🌳 Time outdoors
Kids should get at least 2 hours outside daily
(this is one of the most protective factors against myopia progression)

📏 Working distance
Keep reading/screens at least 30–40 cm (~12–16 inches) away

The reality? Most kids are doing the opposite of all 3.

Save this if you have kids 👀

Red eye drops shrink blood vessels.
That makes the redness look better — temporarily.

When they wear off, the redness often comes back worse.

That’s called rebound redness.

If you’re using them daily, it’s time to ask why your eyes are red in the first place.

Be honest — how often are you using them? 👀

If artificial tears only give temporary relief, it may not be a “drop problem.”

When glands are blocked, inflammation builds — and that’s what makes dry eye symptoms worse.

Treating dry eye often means treating the inflammation, not just adding more drops.

We use OptiLight to reduce inflammation and restore gland function.

If you’ve been dealing with burning, itching, or tearing every day — it’s worth evaluating the cause.

This is not pus.
It’s oil from your tear glands.

When these glands clog, eye drops alone don’t solve the problem.
Treating the glands does.

Most people think an eye exam is about updating glasses.

It’s not.

We routinely detect signs of:
• Diabetes
• High blood pressure
• Autoimmune disease
• Neurological conditions
• Blood disorders

Sometimes before a patient even knows something is wrong.

Your eyes are one of the only places we can directly view blood vessels and nerves — without surgery.

That’s why comprehensive exams matter.
