Martha’s Place - future Hospice House 501c3

Martha’s Place - future Hospice House 501c3 We are building the FIRST residential hospice house in Eastern Montana! My name is Martha Nugent.

I am a licensed nurse practitioner specializing in adult-gerontology, dementia, and oncology. I was born and raised in South Texas but found myself called to Eastern Montana to assist the elderly and teach others about "aging in place." I am now on a mission to develop a residential hospice house in Richland County to change the way we think about dying.

Be silent when someone is grieving…

“In times of loss, the greatest gift is not your advice—it is your presence.
The heart that is broken doesn’t always need answers; it needs comfort and space.
There is healing and shared silence in weeping together without the pressure to speak.
When human words fall short, and you are silent with the grieving, you echo the heart of God—compassionate, gentle, present.
There is a sacred reverence in silence that allows the soul to grieve fully.
Don’t try to explain what only God can heal. Just be still. Let your silence speak of love.”
