CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19
Updates as of 05/01/20 regarding our Coronavirus/Covid-19 policy. Updates are noted in bold-type and underlined. Here’s what we are doing to protect you:
1. All cancellation fees are waived for anyone who is experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath *** Please note, if you cancel an appointment for any of these symptoms, we will NOT be able to see you until 14 days following the resolution of your symptoms.
2. Any staff member who reports experiencing fever, a new cough or shortness of breath must be seen by a medical professional prior to returning to work.
3. We continue to wash and/or sanitize hands between patients, wipe down our tables with a virucide between patients, disinfect equipment and common areas, etc…as per CDC and ODH guidelines.
4. All staff will be required to wear face coverings. Due to the nature of chiropractic care, close personal interaction/contact is required. Therefore, we strongly recommend that all patients wear a face covering as well. If you do not have one of your own, one will be made available for you. Whenever possible, social distancing rules will be adhered to.
We do also have some requests of you:
1. Please do not come into the office if you are in a high risk category (over 60 years old, immunocompromised, or an expecting/nursing mother) or are experiencing fever, a new cough, or shortness of breath (see our revised cancellation policy, above)
2. Please cover coughs and sneezes with your arm or a tissue at all times.
3. Please limit any unnecessary patient companions. If you must bring a driver, family member, etc., please have them wait in the vehicle if at all possible.
In the last 14 days, have you:
• Traveled internationally to a high risk area?
o If needed please refer to www.cdc.gov for further information
• Had close contact with someone who has traveled to a high risk area?
• Had physical contact with someone who has a known case of the COVID-19 virus?
• Recently developed any of the following?
o Fever
o Cough
o Flu like symptoms
o Shortness of breath
If you answer YES to any of these questions, per the CDC guidelines we are unable to schedule an appointment for you. We can schedule/reschedule an appointment in approximately 14 days.
The office will remain open to serve our patients. Our current office hours are: MTThF 9am – 12pm, Wed 9am-6pm.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this difficult period. We ask that everyone please do your part to keep yourselves and our community safe and healthy. Thank you.
