⭐ Meet Jay McPherson, RN - BSN, Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse. Jay has been a part of our Cath Lab team for a year and a half but has over 25 years of experience and service as a nurse.

❤️ What’s your favorite part about working in your field of work?
“Seeing patients feel better and improving their outcomes.”

💡What inspired you to pursue this career path?
“ I wanted to help people more directly. Having the ability to teach, help and improve my fellow neighbors lives.”

💙 What do you hope every patient feels when you’re in the room with them?
“I hope they feel at ease and know they are being taken care of like they are part of my family.”

⏳ When you look back on your career one day, what do you hope you’ll be remembered for?
" I hope to be remembered for the passion and care I took care of the people that I work with and the people around me.”

⭐ Meet Stephanie Rittenhouse, RN - BSN, Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse. Stephanie has been with us for 12 years; 11 of those as a Cath Lab Nurse.

❤️ What’s your favorite part about working in your field of work?
“Seeing the difference you can make in someone’s life within minutes while saving their life. The Cath Lab is one of the few places where you feel clinically sharp, deeply trusted, and genuinely essential all at the same time. I love being a part of a team that can change an outcome in the matter of minutes.”

💡What inspired you to pursue this career path?
“The chance to make a life-changing impact of patients. I’m drawn to the intensity of the Cath Lab - the need to stay calm under pressure, think critically, and work seamlessly as part of a highly skilled team during controlled chaos.”

💙 What do you hope every patient feels when you’re in the room with them?
“I hope that every patient knows that being in the Cath Lab is an unknown time in their life and the unknown is scary but knowing that they have a nurse by their side to help keep them calm and educated on what’s going on during their procedure calms them and that they are receiving the best care possible during one of the most vulnerable times of their life.”

⏳When you look back on your career one day, what do you hope you’ll be remembered for?
"As a Cath Lab nurse, you become so close with your co-workers that they become family and I hope they remember me as someone who truly cares about patients, our team, and our profession.”

⭐ Meet Elyse Inbody, RN - BSN, Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse. Elyse has been a part of our Cath Lab team for just over a year but has over ten years of experience and service as a nurse.

❤️What’s your favorite part about working in your field of work?
“I love taking care of patients from start to finish. I love being able to have a patient walk in and be able to fix them and make them feel better to send home the next day.”

💡What inspired you to pursue this career path?
“I have always been interested in everything related to the heart. I didn’t know how much there was to learn until I actually came to the Cath Lab and saw my first heart cath. This world is so much different than what I have ever done in my previous jobs.”

💙 What do you hope every patient feels when you’re in the room with them?
“I hope they feel comfort and relaxation knowing I am doing everything I possibly can to make them feel better and get them home to their families.”

⏳When you look back on your career one day, what do you hope you’ll be remembered for?
"I hope I am remembered for touching lives, not just fixing hearts. I want to make people feel safe and comforted, even on the scariest days of their lives.”
