Journey 4 Self is excited to announce that Mindy Brumley, PMHNP-BC has joined our team and is currently accepting new clients!

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Mindy Brumley is a nationally board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in mental health medication management. She began her nursing career when she completed her initial nursing degree at Upper Valley Joint Vocational School in 2001 with a Licensed Practical Nursing certificate and then went on to earn a nursing associate degree at Edison Community College. She continued her education by graduating from Wright State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. In May 2024, she completed her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Northern Kentucky University.

During her nursing career, Mindy has worked at Wilson Health & St. Rita’s Medical Center in various nursing departments including the intensive care unit, surgery services & emergency department. We are thrilled that Mindy is now offering her services at Journey 4 Self primarily at both the Sidney, Ohio and Troy, OH locations.

Mindy is a proud member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. She is also a board member for Helping God’s Children in Haiti.

Mindy provides several services including evaluations for clients who are currently taking psychiatric medications and are not having improvement with their mental health as well as medication management and treatment for the following mental health diagnosis: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD,) depression, treatment resistant depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, & eating disorders. Mindy provides services for all ages - children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
