Please join us in congratulating our newest Misson Award winner, Kris Kopetzky!

During one of our patient's therapy sessions, their 2 grandkids wanted to see the PT room. Kris demonstrated an exceptional act of kindness by not only focusing on the patient's recovery but intentionally including their grandchildren in the experience. He invited them to try therapy activities, explained equipment, answered their questions, and made them feel genuinely welcomed. What could have been a routine appointment became an educational and inspiring experience for them.
Kris exemplified SRMC’s mission of “Extraordinary Care… Always!” by extending compassionate, inclusive care beyond the patient to family members. He modeled positivity, education, and innovation by turning a therapy visit into an engaging learning opportunity. His actions went well beyond his job description and created a lasting impression. “My grandchildren described it as one of the best ‘field trips’ they’ve ever had and shared their experience with friends and family.”
Kris’ kindness, initiative, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment reflect the very heart of SRMC’s mission and culture. He didn’t just provide therapy, he created connection, inspiration, and joy. He is truly deserving of recognition through the SRMC Mission Award.
