🚨 OVERDOSE ALERT – REGINA, Saskatchewan (Canada) 🚨
February 9, 2026
The Regina Police Service has reported 46 overdoses since February 2, 2026, many requiring multiple doses of naloxone.
There have been 4 suspected overdose deaths, including 3 on February 8 alone.
This indicates a HIGH RISK of overdose and death in the Regina area.
⚠️ What We Know:
• Substance: Unknown
• Sold as: Unknown
• May contain: Opioids or other unknown substances
• Naloxone will reverse opioids, but will NOT reverse substances like benzodiazepines
• Multiple doses of naloxone may be required
🛑 What This Means:
If you or someone you love is using:
• Do not use alone
• Carry naloxone
• Call 911 immediately if someone is unresponsive
• Stay with the person until help arrives
• If naloxone is given and there is no response in 2–3 minutes, give another dose
Even if someone wakes up, they still need medical attention.
We don’t always know what’s in the supply. Right now, the risk is high.
This isn’t about judgment. It’s about saving lives.
