A reminder for the upcoming holidays and winter:

Our office will be open from 8-12 on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. We will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. As always a provider will be on call for your urgent needs; they can be reached by calling our regular office number 423-886-7529. We will resume regular office hours on Dec 26 and January 2.

Inclement weather policy: Office closure due to winter weather will be announced here. The safety of our staff and patients is important to us and if there is doubt regarding the roads we will err on the side of caution.

We are closing for the day/weekend. As always you can reach after hours care by calling 423-886-7529. Our sister clinic, Highland Pediatric Clinic in Hixson will be open 1-8 each day if needed; call or text 423-877-4591 to schedule an appointment.

Our office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, and will reopen for a partial day on Friday morning. Our sister clinic, Highland Pediatrics in Hixson will also be closed Thursday. They will be open Friday from 1-8 pm for night clinic and regular weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday (please call or text 423-877-4591 for appointment time). As always when we are closed, a physician may be reached after hours by calling our regular number. Please remember that the texting service is NOT monitored when we are closed.

Officer Carter says have a safe Halloween!

To have a safe Halloween, wear visible costumes with reflective tape, carry glow sticks or flashlights, and stay with a group while trick-or-treating, ideally with adult supervision. Before eating, have an adult inspect all treats to ensure they are factory-wrapped and not tampered with. Be cautious with decorations like candles, opt for battery-operated alternatives, and drive slowly in residential areas while being extra alert for children

Our dinosaur of a xray machine has gone the way of other dinosaurs--caput. Therefore, we do not currently have radiology ability in the office. We can still assess injuries and determine if an xray is needed then facilitate your appointment at centers in Chattanooga. Hopefully this avoids unnecessary emergency room visits. We apologize for any inconvenience but it had a great run and is being recycled for parts.
