🏅 Feature Friday: Quality Service Award – Estle (Cali) Lawrence🏅

The Quality Service Award recognizes caregivers who consistently go above and beyond to ensure residents receive the highest quality of care. This week, we're recognizing Cali Lawrence from Americare - Schilling Gardens.

Since joining the team as a Dietary Cook, Cali has made a lasting impression with the way he connects with residents – often kneeling beside a wheelchair for a one-on-one chat and learning each person’s likes, dislikes and routines. His patience and understanding make a meaningful difference in memory care, where relationships take extra care to build.

Cali’s commitment goes beyond the kitchen. He’s always willing to step in to help PCAs and nurses, and when the dietary manager left unexpectedly, he stepped up to keep both kitchens running smoothly.

Whether delivering hugs, handshakes or home-cooked meals, Cali's kindness leaves a lasting impact on everyone around him.

🌿 Wellness Wins Across Americare! 🌿

This week’s Wellness Win comes from Americare - Mill Creek Village, where residents stepped up to the plate for a fun take on physical wellness! ⚾

Residents had a blast at the batting cages, swinging for the fences and cheering each other on. The activity encouraged movement, hand-eye coordination and a little friendly competition.

Residents left feeling energized, proud and more connected with their community. That’s what wellness is all about!

🏅 Feature Friday: Quality Service Award – Kentrell Reeves 🏅

The Quality Service Award recognizes caregivers who consistently go above and beyond to ensure residents receive the highest quality of care. This week, we're proud to recognize Kentrell Reeves from Americare - Neighborhoods at Quail Creek.

Kentrell is the supervisor of housekeeping and laundry, as well as the dietary manager. Despite the demands of overseeing two departments, he always puts residents first, stays focused on what needs to be done and sets the standard for his teammates.

Residents light up when they see Kentrell, reflecting the genuine care and compassion he shows every day. He is always willing to step in and offer help, and the huge responsibility he carries never affects the care he provides.

Congratulations, Kentrell, for being our Quality Service Award winner! 👏

🏅 Feature Friday: Family Hero Award – Nicole Wisdom 🏅

The Family Hero Award recognizes caregivers who not only brighten our residents’ days, but also bring comfort and peace of mind to their families. This week, we’re proud to recognize Nicole Wisdom from Americare Ravenwood Terrace as our second recipient!

Nicole was nominated by a resident's family, who shared how she goes above and beyond every day. She connects with residents through meaningful conversations, sings and dances with them and provides comfort that eases the anxieties of dementia.

The family also praised how much Nicole supports them – keeping them updated, sending photos and always being there to answer questions.

We’re so grateful to have Nicole on our team, caring for both residents and their families with such heart. 👏
