Fascia Continued: The visceral fascia is the deepest layer, gently supporting and surrounding the organs. This is where emotions often settle in the body’s core systems. Grief may rest in the lungs, worry in the stomach, fear in the kidneys, anger in the liver, and deep survival instincts in the gut. This layer influences breathing, digestion, immunity, circulation, and our most fundamental rhythms. Myofascial Release...Like Cupping works beautifully here, not through force but through quiet, steady presence. With this kind of listening, the organs begin to soften, warm, and move with greater ease.
When we understand and care for all three layers with purpose, the whole body begins to come back into balance. The superficial fascia calms, the deep fascia reorganizes, and the visceral fascia unwinds. Emotions settle, structure becomes more aligned, and the body’s internal systems return to a more natural harmony.
This is the heart of fascia work — the meeting place of emotion, structure, and healing. This is what it means to be a Body Worker/ Licensed Massage Therapest.
