Update on Randi's hand injury.

I've missed my office so much!!! I decided to bring my work computer so I can still be in the space while
I do my new job!

Drum roll please....

I have decided to open a massage school!

This decision hasn't been an easy one to make but it seems like it's meant to be. When one door shuts another opportunity opens.

I've been working so hard at jumping through hoops and planning and collaborating with the best of the best!

I've been collaborating with not only the best and the best massage therapists in Grant County but the best in the nation when it comes to massage education!

Unfortunately for now my hands need so much more time to keep healing. It wasn't a matter of a simple carpal tunnel release after all.

I will continue to do a very very small amount of my family members in my office so if you come see Nicole or Liz i might see you there!

This is why I know I need to open a school to recruit more people to take care of all you wonderful people!

Nicole and Liz have been so amazing at stepping up and helping me in all the ways! Moral, mental health, physical pain and the day to day things at the office.
I miss it so much. It's been really hard if I'm being honest.

I know God and the universe have new things in store for me!

There are other modalities that I have up my sleeve that can help you with your pain besides massage. More news to come in that! But I'm hopefully going to start one on one mobility movement where we can make a custom plan on where to stretch and where to strengthen to create more stability in your body. I believe my yoga training and massage training compliment each other in the most beautiful way!

I so look forward to this class every week! I wish all my massage clients did it!

Hi! It’s Randi here. I have a little bit of some bad news. I knew this day was coming but I didn’t think it would come this soon or this intense. I thought my hands would wear out gradually over time but all of a sudden I have some pretty severe carpal tunnel.

I’ve been doing all the self care things.
Castor oil packs
2-3 massages a week on top of chiropractors
Ice
Braces at night and in the day

Unfortunately it looks like I might be having surgery and might be out of work 2-3 months in the future.

When I was checking out at southwest bone and joint and scheduling my next appointment I cried. This is incredibly hard for me. I love massage therapy. I love my clients.

I will keep you posted on what the plan is but be prepared to have some back up massage therapist of course Nicole and Elizabeth are my favorite and if there are any volunteers to switch for now so I can lighten my work load let me know! Also another option would be going 5 or 6 weeks in between instead of 4 weeks or leap frogging seeing me one month and Elizabeth the next.

I appreciate all of your patients during this time.
