🌼 Tiny hands. Big moments. Lifelong impact.

Today, Julianna and her mom created something beautiful together, handprint flowers that capture more than paint on paper. They capture connection, growth, and the magic of early development.

Those little handprints?
✨ They’re building fine motor skills
✨ Strengthening sensory awareness
✨ Supporting early brain development
✨ And most importantly, deepening the bond between mom and baby.

At Beginning Years, moments like this aren’t accidents. They’re intentional. They’re rooted in evidence-based practice, guided by expert home visitors, and centered on making moms feel confident, capable, and proud.

This is what happens when families are supported, not rushed.
When parents are empowered, not judged.
When babies are seen, celebrated, and nurtured from the very beginning.

💛 We don’t just do visit homes.
💛 We build relationships.
💛 We grow strong families, one moment, one milestone, one tiny handprint at a time.

We see you momma, and we celebrate you!♥️

✨ Little hands. Big discoveries. Powerful connections. ✨

Today, Braxley and her home visitor, Veronica, explored the magic of magnets, and what looked like simple play was actually something so much more.

Through hands-on play, Braxley practiced curiosity, problem-solving, and early science skills. She tested what sticks, what doesn’t, and why, all while building confidence and joy in learning. 🧲✨

This is the heart of home visiting.
Not worksheets.
Not rushed moments.
But one-on-one connection, guided play, and intentional experiences that spark a child’s natural curiosity, right in the comfort of home.

When a trusted home visitor joins a family on the floor, learning becomes fun, meaningful, and lasting. That’s how strong brains grow. That’s how relationships are built. That’s how outcomes change.

💛 Play with purpose
💛 Science through curiosity
💛 Connection that lasts

💙 “Dads matter. Connection matters.” 💙

Moments like this with Dad Jr. Delgado and his son Nathaniel remind us why father involvement is so powerful. Jr.’s patience, presence, and commitment shine, and Nathaniel is learning through love and connection. When dads are engaged, present, and supported, children thrive.

At Beginning Years, we intentionally create space for fathers, because dads aren’t extras, they’re essential. Strong dads help build strong families, and that’s where lifelong impact begins.

✨ Beginning Years, where parents are valued, dads are celebrated, and families are supported from the heart. ✨

At the heart of everything we do is a deep love for Grant County families. This community has shaped us, supported us, and trusted us, and giving back is not just something we do, it’s who we are.

We are proud to support child-centered, local programs that help our kids grow strong, confident, and connected. Our sponsorships with Silver City Little League and the Silver High Fighting Colts are just a couple of the ways we invest in youth, teamwork, and positive experiences for our children.

When we support local sports, we’re supporting more than a game, we’re supporting mentorship, belonging, confidence, and lifelong memories.

Thank you, Grant County, for allowing us to be part of your families’ journeys. Together, we are building something strong. 🖤⚾🏈

As the calendar turns, our hearts remain rooted in what truly matters, families.

A new year isn’t just about resolutions or fresh starts.
For us, it’s about continuing, continuing to show up, to listen, to walk alongside families in their most tender moments.

This past year, we didn’t just serve families.
We sat on living room floors,
celebrated first words and first steps,
held space during hard seasons,
and reminded parents, again and again, that they are not alone.

We measure success in trust built,
confidence restored,
and relationships that last long after the visit ends.

💛 One family.
💛 One home.
💛 One meaningful connection at a time.

As we step into this new year, we recommit to the heart of home visiting, personalized support, authentic relationships, and real change that echoes through generations.

To the families who welcomed us into their homes: thank you for trusting us.
To our community: thank you for believing in the power of connection.
To the new year ahead: we’re ready, together.

✨ Here’s to a year of deeper roots, stronger families, and hearts that remain at the center of everything we do.

🎄✨ Christmas coloring & early literacy magic ✨🎄

What started as coloring time with Clara quickly turned into a shared moment when little brother joined in. 💛

Crayons, colors, and cozy connection help build early literacy, fine motor skills, vocabulary, and a love of learning that starts at home.

Thank you to the Graham family for sharing this sweet moment with us. 🎄✨

This is the heart of Grant County’s home visiting program: supporting families one relationship at a time and turning everyday moments into lifelong impact.

✨ Celebrating Kodiak Baird ✨

Today we celebrate a graduate who reminds us exactly why home visiting matters.

Kodiak Baird entered this world early, a tiny premie with a mighty, determined spirit. From the very beginning, he showed us strength beyond his years. Five incredible years later, Kodiak stands tall as a bright, curious, kind-hearted, funny, and incredibly smart young boy who never stopped fighting forward.

Kodiak is the kind of child who makes you smile just by being himself. He asks questions, shows empathy, finds joy in learning, and meets the world with courage and heart. Watching him grow has been nothing short of extraordinary.

By his side every step of the way was his mom, Tara Baird, a powerful force of love, advocacy, and unwavering belief. Her drive and dedication created a foundation where Kodiak could thrive. And walking alongside their family journey was Julie, Kodiak’s home visitor, providing consistent support, encouragement, and guidance, celebrating every milestone, big and small.

This is what our program does.
We don’t rush families.
We don’t rotate faces.
We build deep, lasting relationships.

From those fragile early days to this proud graduation moment, Kodiak’s story shows what happens when families are supported one-on-one, over time, with trust, compassion, and heart.

Kodiak, you are a fighter.
You are brilliant.
You are deeply loved.
And your story will always be part of ours.

Congratulations to an incredible child, a devoted mother, and a beautiful home visiting journey.

✨ Gratitude That Reaches Every Home ✨

This season, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for Toys for Tots and for Dana and Robert Lopez, whose unwavering dedication and partnership have once again made magic possible for the families we serve.

Because of their tireless efforts and the extraordinary generosity of our community, hundreds of children in our home visiting program will receive a gift this year, a moment of joy, surprise, and wonder that every child deserves.

This partnership is one we hold close. For many years, Toys for Tots and Dana and Robert Lopez have stood beside our families, helping ensure that no child feels forgotten during the holidays. Their kindness ripples far beyond a toy, it brings hope to parents, relief to caregivers, and pure joy to children who will remember these moments long after the wrapping paper is gone.

It also lifts the spirits of our home visitors, who walk alongside families every day. Seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and knowing our families are supported by a community that truly cares reminds us all why this work matters.

This is what community looks like.
This is what connection feels like.
This is what happens when hearts come together.

From all of us, families, children, and home visitors, thank you for helping make this season brighter and for believing in the power of showing up for one another.
