Join us tonight as Dr Jesse Brand discusses Long Covid as part of the Stixrud Webinar series.

Dr. Jesse G. Brand is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist, evaluating adults with a range of psychiatric, neurological, and medical disorders. His primary areas include differential diagnosis of dementia, traumatic brain injury, forensic neuropsychology, and productivity coaching.
Dr. Brand was born and raised in New York City. After completing his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University – including an APA-accredited internship at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center – he received post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Virginia. He is licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Brand has taught Clinical Assessment as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. He also reviews candidate materials for the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology certification process and he is an official mentor for those seeking board certification, under the AACN Mentorship Task Force program.

Stixrud Webinar Series
The Stixrud webinar series is held on the first Tuesday of each month from 6 to 7 PM. Our goal is to provide information on a specific topic, with a 10 to 15 minute talk, followed by a lengthy question and answer session. We hope that this format will provide audience members with relevant information and allow them ample time to follow up on points or spark further discussion. Our presenters are neuropsychologists and clinical psychologists at the Stixrud Group, who have selected topics which particularly interest them, or in which they have specialized knowledge. Stixrud Group Webinar: The Ins and Outs of Specific Learning Disorders

Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 6:00 – 7:00 PM on zoom

We are excited to announce the resumption of the Stixrud Group Webinar Series. These webinars, held on the third Tuesday of each month, are structured to give parents and others an opportunity to ask questions and discuss a variety of topics. Each webinar features one or two psychologists and neuropsychologists from the Stixrud Group speaking for approximately 15 minutes, followed by 45 minutes of question-and-answer discussion periods. We hope to see you soon!

October’s webinar, led by Erika Wasserman, PhD and Susan Hammond, PhD will focus on learning disabilities in reading, written language, and math. We will explain subtypes of learning disorders, and explore relevant strategies for intervention. And, as always, we will leave plenty of time for questions!
