Responsibilities: The person in this position must be able to perform the following:
Follow universal precautions at all times
Follow the instructions of the RN or Nurse supervisor
Engage with the client, assist with ADL's that may consist of food preparation, transporting client (if applicable), light housekeeping, laundry, washing dishes, medication reminders or administering, bathing, toileting etc.
Perform duties based on the client's needs and care plan
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA requirements
Follow written and oral instructions
Skills and Education: The Person in this position must:
Have a valid CNA License (if applicable)
CPR and First Aid certification
Must be able to pass a background check
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid work authorization
Must be able to lift 25lbs or more
A minimum of 1 year Home Health experience
Be able to function in an environment with minimal supervision
Be responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with the agency's client and their family
