Your body repairs and rebuilds muscle while you rest — making sleep just as important as your workout. Most adults need 7–9 hours a night to recover, reduce inflammation, and stay strong.
Sleep is an essential part of any exercise routine. It helps your muscles recover, reduces soreness, and prepares your body for the next workout.

Have you ever felt like your Doctor has stopped listening to you or doesn't really understand what you have been trying to explain to him or her about how you feel? Have you been told you will just have to live with the pain for the rest of your life and pain management is really the only thing left to figure out? Have you been told the pain must be all in your head because "we can't find a physical cause"? If you answered yes to any of these questions, first I would say please don't loose hope, then I want you to know that my office is different. My name is Dr. Ryan Smart and I have practiced Chiropractic for the last 11 years and have grown frustrated that consistent predictable results do not happen for all of my patients, that even when I get great results they can take many months of repeated treatment and then a routine schedule of maintenance treatments to keep the body from falling back into pain and dysfunction. This has lead me down a road of discovery of a breakthrough Treatment called (NIS) Neurological Integration System. NIS is a healing modality that expands your bodies ability to heal itself at an exponential rate, it does this by turning on the healing potential within your brain and it happens at the speed of light.
You're Brain is Unique
You're brain is unique in that we all have had different experiences in our lives that shape and change the pathways in our Brains. Your Brain is a Supper Computer and it is wired and connected to every cell in your body. This wiring system is like a bunch of big loops, which are able to send and receive information between your brain and your cells. During the course of our lives we encounter things that alter those connections or "short circuit" them. Things like physical traumas, mental traumas, toxins, medications, stress, and environmental changes. Your pain and dysfunction is valid and there is a direct cause. To find this exact cause we have to look where no one else has looked, to find what no one else has found.
Today's healthcare strategies are primarily focused on identifying a symptom you are experiencing either by laboratory tests, MRI, X-Ray, CT Scans and then prescribing a medication to get rid of the symptom. When I say get rid of the symptom what I really mean is suppress it from you being able to feel it anymore. Have you ever wondered what is happening to your body when you take a prescription drug? The basic premise is to change a chemical process in the body to have a more desired result. For instance Cholesterol lowering drugs are not dissolving HDL fat cells, but instead killing the liver cells that produce them in hopes that if there are fewer HDL that your liver could produce then your cholesterol can be controlled. Medication use to be something that was prescribed for a short period of time to take a system in the body that had gone out of balance and chemically re balance that system and then stop taking that medication. Today the norm is a regiment of lifetime need to stay on medications, because the true cause of the dysfunction in the body is never addressed or healed.
Have you ever heard the saying "if you do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result that is the definition of insanity"? After all these years in practice I have come to the realization that we can't expect to completely heal the body by an external force. First we must address the brain's ability to run the body the way it was designed for you as an individual. Meaning we must find the short circuited connections between the brain and areas of your body and reintegrate those connections in the order they were blown for each person. This means two people who both have hip pain will have totally different circuits that are blown and the a different order to reconnecting them. No two treatments of NIS are alike. They are completely dependent on each person being treated and that is why I get amazing results that happen quickly and last.
Last week I had a patient tell me she had been suffering for the last 2 years following a car accident she was in where she was hit so hard she suffered a concussion. She has struggled with a sharp pain in her eyes every time she sits at her computer and looks up at the screen. She has gone to eye specialist who tell her they can't find anything wrong and it must be in her head. I went through the NIS protocol and within 20 minutes of treatment she went from having the pain in my office when she sat and looked up prior to starting the treatment, to having no pain when she sat and looked up at the end of the treatment. The pain has not returned.
I believe in a total body approach to healthcare. I believe that we have to address brain function first, then support the body with proper diet, exercise, nutritional supplementation, and how we handle stress. My ultimate goal is to restore, balance and support the body, thus allowing natural healing from within. I utilize specific techniques to address each of your issues.
