The Doctors Clinic Strengthens Its OB/GYN Department

The Doctors Clinic, a long-standing multi-specialty medical group serving Kitsap County, Washington, has recently expanded and reinforced its Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) offerings, reflecting a growing commitment to women’s reproductive health and maternal care.

At its Women’s & Children’s Center in Silverdale, TDC already employs a team of five OB/GYN physicians. And as of recently, the clinic has opened recruitment for even more OB/GYN doctors; seeking to bring on a sixth and seventh practitioner to meet growing demand.

As the OB/GYN team grows, so does the range of services offered. Patients can access comprehensive care: from adolescent gynecology, annual exams and wellness care, to prenatal care, fetal monitoring, delivery, postpartum follow-up, high-risk pregnancy care, on-site ultrasound, gynecologic surgery, and general women’s health services.

The expansion comes in response to a substantial need for OB/GYN services in the Kitsap County area. According to their job postings, TDC expects a robust and quickly growing practice for new physicians — signaling that the demand for women’s health services is rising, and that many in the community may have had limited access in the past.

By adding more providers and broadening their service offerings, The Doctors Clinic aims to provide more accessible, comprehensive, and continuous care for women at every stage of life: from adolescence through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.

What This Means for Patients
More options: With additional OB/GYN physicians, patients may find it easier to get timely appointments for prenatal care, gynecologic check-ups, or surgical needs.

Full-spectrum care under one roof: Because TDC offers general women’s health, prenatal, delivery, postpartum and surgical services, many patients can remain with the same provider or care team throughout major life stages.

Support for growing community demand: As the region’s population changes, expanding OB/GYN capacity helps ensure that women and families don’t have to travel far or wait long for critical care.

Looking Ahead
As The Doctors Clinic continues recruiting OB/GYN physicians and scaling up its Women’s & Children’s Center services, it is poised to become an even more vital provider of women’s health and maternal care for Kitsap County and surrounding areas. It's that time of year when our community comes together in the sweetest way - with kids helping other kids feel the magic of the season!

We're collecting new, unwrapped toys to bring joy to children who could use a little extra cheer. Every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference. Let's fill hearts and holiday stockings this year. Together, we can make sure every child feels seen, loved, and celebrated!

Drop boxes are located at Cavalon Aesthetics, Cavalon Place lobby, Ridgetop West, Salmon Medical Center and TDC Poulsbo, from November 17- December 18.

TDC's Food Drive drop box is located in the corporate office lobby, from Dec. 3 - Dec. 10.

National Radiologic Technology Week® is an annual event that honors the essential contributions of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals to patient care and health care safety.
This weeklong celebration occurs during the week of Nov. 8 to mark the anniversary of Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen's discovery of the x-ray on Nov. 8, 1895.

NRTW® 2025 will be celebrated from Nov. 2-8. This year's theme is “The Kaleidoscope of Radiologic Technology.” The theme links the multitude of medical imaging and radiation therapy practice areas and medical procedures into a single vision and celebration.

October 19–25 is National Healthcare Facilities and Engineering Week, and we’d like to recognize the maintenance teams at TDC for the impactful work they do every day.

The maintenance team supports daily operations for the main facility and our clinics. They work closely with clinical departments and vendors to keep our facilities safe, functional, and ready to provide quality care.

The maintenance teams handle a wide range of tasks that keep things running smoothly, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and setup for events. They are quick to respond when an issue comes up.

A big thank you to our maintenance teams for their steady support and hard work!
