Heads up — a small shift with a bigger intention.

I’m excited to share that I am in the process of rebranding this space from Hart Counseling Services to Conflict-Capable Couples (hopefully Meta goes along with this idea!).

Same me. Same work. Just a name that better fits where things are heading.

Over time, I’ve found I want more room to share — not just therapy, but ideas, tools, and conversations that help couples:
• stop having the same argument on repeat
• understand what’s actually happening underneath conflict
• and build something that genuinely feels good between them

This space will lean a little more educational — blogs, workshops, free resources — while my clinical work continues as Hart Counseling Services.

(Think: same house, different room.)

I’m really happy about this next step and staying engaged with you all.

Are you training your brain to notice what's good—or just reacting to what's hard?

In our relationship, we’ve found that daily appreciations actually change what we notice—not just in each other, but in the day itself.

Lately, I’ve caught myself thinking things like, “That was a sweet moment—I want to remember to share it tonight.” And it turns out, there’s a reason for that: our brains are pattern spotters. The more we intentionally look for what’s going well, the more our brain starts to highlight those moments for us—automatically.

We're not trying to ignore the hard stuff. We're just creating a stronger, more resilient foundation for facing it.
