Another training in the books… and with it, another layer of the heart unfurled.

There is something sacred about devoting yourself wholly heart, soul, and breath to a path that calls you deeper. Yoga is not just a practice, it is a way of seeing, a way of being, a way of remembering who you are beneath the noise of the world.

When you pour yourself into the teachings not just the postures, but the philosophy, the lineage, the quiet truths woven through the sutras you begin to feel the subtle magic at work. The ancient wisdom doesn’t just inform your practice, it begins to transform your life. What was once intellectual becomes embodied. What was once mysterious becomes known in the marrow.

To study yoga with devotion is to step into a timeless current. It is to bow in reverence to all those who have walked before, and to walk forward with grace, clarity, and deep-rooted love. When you offer your whole being to what you believe in, the teachings rise to meet you. And that… is the true alchemy of this path.

I’ve been 1000 different women…

Another beautiful sound healing on the summer solstice… and on my sweet mother’s birthday. It’s been 11 years since she left this world, and still, I feel her presence woven into the fabric of my every day. The ache of missing her hasn’t faded but neither has the love.

Yesterday morning, as I rested in the stillness of Shavasana, she came to me. Not alone, my father and brother were with her. Their energy was gentle but powerful, a visitation from the subtle realm. It was overwhelming, yet deeply comforting… a sacred moment that softened the veil between worlds.

What I felt from them was pure. No sorrow. No pain. Only love. Expansive, eternal, luminous love. The kind that asks for nothing and promises everything.

I know now, they are not gone. They are simply waiting, hearts wide open, full of joy, until the time comes for us to reunite. Until then, I carry them with me in breath, in silence, in every beat of this tender human heart. ♥️
