I been practicing in Simi Valley since 1989, and made it my home in 1992. I specialize in a non-surgical treatment of disc herniations or ruptures for both the neck and low back, called the Cox Distraction/Decompression Technique. I am certified in the technique and was an Associate Professor at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, where I taught the technique. The treatment is performed on a specially designed Chiropractic table, which reduces pressure, widens canals, and utilizes all ranges of motion, thereby restoring motion to the spine. The Cox Decompression Technique has been in practice for over 50 years and is performed hands on by the Doctor, not a technician, and is covered by most insurances. In addition to the Cox Technique, I also use diversified, SOT, and Activator techniques. I find the right technique to meet your care. With over 25 years of experience, my concern is to take care of you. After being in practice for 34 years, I am retiring. My last day will be February 27, 2023. Thank you to all my patients, my friends and family for allowing me to take care of you. It’s been a Honor and a Privilege to be your Doctor. And thank you Dr. Shawn DeCloedt, DC, for being my partner at Simi Spine and Wellness for the past 7 years! It’s been a great partnership!
