Hello! My name is Christina, and I am the owner of Connect by Christina Pompeo, LLC. In my 20+ years in public schools, I have had extensive experience educating students with emotional, behavioral, learning, and communication challenges. And in that time, one common thread began to emerge. We need language to connect with everything and everyone…our families, our friends, our teachers, our jobs, our school curriculum, ourselves. Language is everywhere. And when we don’t have the language we need…well, then we can’t connect.
So, here we go! Let’s start helping YOU to connect - together we can make an impact!
A few fun facts about me as we start our journey together…
* I grew up in New Jersey. Yup - a Jersey girl!
* I graduated from University of Richmond with a degree in Speech Communications and Elementary Education.
* I received my MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College, and I have been facilitating graduate courses (Speech Sound Disorders and Language & Literacy Disabilities) for their online program, Speech@Emerson, since May 2019.
* I love to ski, hike, and hang out with my dog, Zeke!
* My son, Clay, is wrapping up his freshman year at Miami University in Ohio - he comes home next week!
