“We got stuff to do.”

She’s spent nearly 30 years supporting families. She’s also a parent. And even she doesn’t have time to spend hours in the kitchen.

That’s Michelle Mullin, certified clinical herbalist, co-founder of The Lucky Gut Collective and The Children’s Clubhouse, and the person behind The Kitchen Apothecary.

The Kitchen Apothecary is her monthly class. This month it’s the Backyard Apothecary BBQ Edition. Fermented ketchup, cultured mustard, probiotic ranch, one-minute mayo. Simple, gut-friendly staples you make in class and take home.

No overhaul. No complicated process. Just better versions of the things you were already going to reach for all summer.

Make it once. Use it all season.

At The Lucky Gut Collective, we believe healing starts from the inside out.

That’s why we’re intentional about who teaches in our kitchen.

Joan Palmer, MS, founder of The Institute of Sustainable Nutrition, has spent decades teaching the connection between food, herbs, and human health.

And there’s a deeper connection here: Lucky Gut co-founder Michelle Mullin completed her herbalism training through Joan’s Institute, making this class part of a teaching lineage that helped shape the roots of Lucky Gut itself.

This May, as we lean into our theme Nourish Before Summer, Joan is bringing one of the oldest and most practical forms of gut support into our kitchen: fermentation.

Fermentation supports the gut microbiome, preserves seasonal abundance, and reconnects us to traditional nourishment.

Join us (Sunday) May 3 and go home with your own ferment.

Some afternoons just deserve to be different.

On May 3 at 3 PM, HannaH Ardenski and Chef Bliss of HannaH’s Field are bringing two hours of breathwork, visualization, and live music to The Lucky Gut Collective, designed to move you from mental noise toward something that actually feels lighter.

HannaH is a certified Sadhana Yoga Instructor and Dream Builder Life Coach. Bliss is her musical partner and husband, someone who moves between drumming, healing cuisine, and building conscious spaces with equal intention.

$20. Beginner welcome. Pre-registration closes at 5 PM the day of the event. Link in bio to save your spot.
Our market stays open until 5:30. Come early or linger after.

Our May calendar is here.

And Mother’s Day is the first thing on our minds.

We’ve built a full weekend around it: experiences for moms, experiences with kids, and a few things that are simply for you. More on that very soon.

The rest of May is filled with classes led by people who truly know their craft: a certified clinical herbalist, registered dietitian, licensed yoga instructor and health coach, somatic practitioner, fermentation teacher, and more.

Real credentials. Real food. Real practices.

Hosted in a kitchen and workshop space designed for hands-on learning, each class is built to leave you with something you can actually take with you.

That’s what a Lucky Gut class feels like.

Something that stays with you.

Swipe through to see what’s coming this month.

Sign-ups typically close 48 hours before class begins. If it’s still on the website, there are still spots available.

Energy is coming back. Now, what you do with it matters.

This week is about building something that lasts. Real food, hands-on learning, movement, nervous system support, and time in community.

But also the harder-to-name stuff. Like sitting in a room where someone plays live music and your whole body remembers how to exhale. Or the quiet power of having a moment worth cherishing, captured by someone who knows how to find it. Or spending a Sunday afternoon making comfort kits for cancer patients, because some weeks the most nourishing thing is remembering we’re part of something bigger.

All of it. This week.

Simple. Grounded. Doable. (And a little magical) ✨

Spots are limited.

Happy Earth Day, friends! 🌍

Come celebrate the earth with us in a simple, joyful way today at The Lucky Gut.

When you spend over $40, you’ll take home a free p***y willow or elderberry start! 🌱
They’re already rooting and just waiting for their forever home.

And this afternoon, 3:30–5:30, join us on the patio:
✨ sip a refreshing mocktail
✨ celebrate Earth Day together
✨ plant seeds to take home (all seeds + materials are free)

It’s a little pause in the day to connect with nature, get your hands in the soil, and honor the place we all share.

See you soon. 🌿

Some weeks call for stillness. Others call for something to look forward to. This week, Lucky Gut has both.

Paint something just for the joy of it and leave with your own original artwork. Sit quietly and let your mind catch up. Move your body with intention: yoga and tai chi are just $20 for an hour. Cook, learn, and share a meal around the table. Prep ahead and leave with four frozen dinners ready to go. Bring the whole family or send your teen on their own.

And this week, there’s a chance to give back in a way that really matters. Crafting for Cancer with Diane’s Helping Hands is free to join. Everything you make goes directly to cancer patients.

Some of this week is free. Some of it feeds your freezer. Some of it feeds something harder to name.

However you show up, there’s a seat for you here.

See what’s coming up → luckygut.co/classes If it’s on the site, there’s still a spot for you.
